London has become a city of old and new, juxtaposing old buildings like St. Paul's Cathedral, built just after the Great Fire of London in 1666, with the Millenium Bridge in the foreground, which opened in 2000.

For such a large building in a busy city, Westminster has spaces that have been carved out for reflection.

The church has a narrow parapet where one can circle around the roof and see the city of Oxford below. Here, you see a Renaissance-era statue overlooking All Souls College in the background.

We admittedly came to see this church because its roof has excellent views of the city of Oxford.
